This is a wonderful dance, and super easy for new dancers. You learn what is ACROSS the set, what is UP and DOWN the set, what a BACK to BACK (aka Dosido) is, and a TWO-HAND TURN (or Swing), plus a very useful bit of foot-work, namely the chassé (which we in America call a "sashay"). The chassé is simply step to the side, step together, and step to the side again. Step, together, step. Then back the other way. And if that is too complicated, you just walk.
